The company\u2019s previous solution provided middling transfer speeds, especially over long distances, which made it difficult for video teams when their clubs were on the road.<\/p>\n \u201cWe reached a point where users said: \u2018When I\u2019m downloading something or uploading something, it takes ages,\u201d he says, adding that the challenge was especially acute for U.S.-based teams playing far from home. \u201cIf you\u2019re a New York team, but you go play in L.A., you’re far away from your own tools and storage.<\/p>\n \u201cThey told us: \u2018When I\u2019m trying to edit video from the other side of the country, it\u2019s super slow.
